Co;fortqlbly numb" by Pink floyd
review: This exemplary rock song dirge shows up on Pink Floyd's famous artful culmination The Wall, the one collection you can never tune in to completely except if you own a bong the size of a mop. In Comfortably Numb, bassist/sourpuss Roger Waters plays the unctuous specialist who sedates tormented demigod Pink voiced by guitarist/better artist David Gilmour. Upsetting references to pricking needles and illusory boats flourish, with Waters singing like a deranged Peter Lorre. An extraordinary heap driver guitar solo by Gilmour toward the end keeps us from needing to cover ourselves alive
